Focal P60 Limited Edition + Match UP 10 DSP Installation in a Porsche Cayenne GT 2024

In December, the official Focal distributor for Australia approached us with a unique challenge: upgrading the sound system in a Porsche Cayenne GT 2024 with Focal P60 Limited Edition speakers. The problem? The car came with the basic factory sound system, making a direct installation impossible.
Thanks to our extensive experience upgrading Porsche 911 models with basic systems, we knew exactly how to achieve a perfect plug-and-play installation without cutting a single factory wire.
Day 1 & 2: Sound Deadening Process
We began by carefully disassembling the entire cabin, protecting all interior parts to avoid scratches and damage. We applied STP sound-deadening materials to the doors and panels, creating an optimal acoustic environment for the Focal P60 speakers.

Day 3: Custom Harness Adaptation
The Match PP VAG 1.6 harness didn't match the Porsche’s wiring diagram. Our team manually traced the signals and created a custom wiring diagram, ensuring compatibility without cutting any factory wires.
💡 The Result: 100% factory integration and perfect signal transmission for the Match UP 10 DSP amplifier.
Day 4: Match UP 10 DSP Integration
With the harness adapted, we installed the Match UP 10 DSP amplifier, one of the most powerful 10-channel digital sound processors on the market. This allowed us to fine-tune every frequency with absolute precision and maximum power delivery to the Focal speakers.
Day 5 & 6: Full Speaker Installation
We installed the Focal P60 Limited Edition 3-way component kit in the front doors, Focal rear speakers, and a Focal subwoofer, along with all necessary harnesses and adapters.
To achieve a full surround sound experience, we upgraded the rear speakers as well, fully utilizing the Match UP 10 DSP’s 10-channel capacity.
Final Day: DSP Tuning & Calibration
Using Audiotec Fischer DSP Tools and professional measurement microphones, we focused on:
✅ Phase and polarity correction
✅ Time alignment to center the sound on the driver’s position
✅ Frequency equalization for deep bass and crystal-clear highs
✅ Perfect balance between front and rear speakers
🎶 The result? A soundstage so powerful and immersive that it feels like you're in a recording studio – inside a Porsche Cayenne GT 2024.
